A Letter
Can we ever share each other once more? To lay ourselves bare. Can we ever dream together? To captivate ourselves from our truths rarely seen. May I ask you to walk hand-in-hand once more with me; to stride along this path that is rarely planned. Could we live anew? To smile with each other from plenty.
These memories cause me to swoon; do they to you? Will you love me soon, I hope to. I witness you now with curiosity; the desire to see more. Do you still see me the same or is that renewed?
I have conquered my arrears; this debt unpaid. Oh how I miss you now! That wound kept you away.
Am I misunderstood by you? Your words reignite. My lighthouse shining bright, your ship won’t pass out of sight.
